Week 10

Your Pregnancy: Week 10

had an ultrasound yesterday and his arms and legs are working just fine. he was move'n and a shake'n for his daddy and grandma when they came to the room. it was so beautiful i cryed big fat sloppy tears. he's really looking like a baby in there even if he is still just a wee bean. and you could total make out hands, feet, elbows, arms, knees, legs, head, and tummy. he got so excited he even got the hicups! he was just so very very beautiful and i can't wait to meet him or her, and my hormones are really starting to kick in and i've been crying at the drop of a dime the last few days.

there's a baby inside me and i'm just so happy to be his momma.

so i went to my meet the midwives meeting on wed. evening over here. had my mom go with me, she was the question queen. it's cool though because it ended up being a group session and i get a bit shy in front of new people. got to to tour the facilities. really want to have my baby there. first appointment is Nov. 2, I'll be in my 12th week.
got my second ultrasound with care net on Mon. Marla is going to go with me. Justin doesn't want to for what ever reason and i don't want to go alone again. it was to sad not to have anyone to share it with last time. I'm super excited to see him again. i really like watching his little heart beat up there on the screen. and it will be a nice bonding thing with my mother-in-law.
still nauseous, eating better though. really want some oranges. feel like i could eat a whole bag full. applying for a part time job, need to save some money for this baby. slowly cleaning out my office, need to work a little fast so i can get started on the nursery.
that's about all i got right now peoples. I'll do my 10 week update Mon. after my ultra sound.

9 Weeks + 3 days

OK ,so I borrowed this Q&A format from here , but she's having a baby today and won't be needing it anymore. Plus I've see some other girls using it for there weekly updates, so I'm just gonna go ahead and use it so my life is easier and you get a good update. and p.s. I'll start weekly bump pics next week.

How far along? 9 weeks and 3days
Total weight gain: no that i know of.
Maternity clothes? no
Sleep: mostly, but some nights I'm up and down with the peeing and whatnot
Best moment this week: Justin made me turkey so i could have some turkey sandwiches.
Movement: no
Gender: i think it's a boy in my heart, but i don't really know.
Labor Signs: nope!
Belly Button in or out? in
What I miss: coffee and Dr. pepper, but not as much now because it's been a month now with no caffeine.
What I am looking forward to:not being nauseous.
Weekly Wisdom: babies make all the things you had as a kid pop back up, like skin allergies!
Milestones: going to "meet the midwives" tomorrow.

Blankies for the Bean

Got my sew on this week and made some blankets for my little one. It didn't cost me anything since all the materials came out of my overgrown stash. The printed sides are some of my favorite finds that I thought could go for a girl or boy and the solids are cotton flannels so they'll be nice and soft for baby. These were really easy to make and i can't wait to make more.

my baby daddy brought me some chocolate cream filled cupcakes tonight. i ate one with my milk and prenatal vitamins. saving the second for later. that is if my man doesn't eat it first.

A new Season deserves a new Blog.

and i don't just mean fall here people! 

If by some reason you have not been in the loop, Justin and i are expecting our first child in the spring. So to keep the "fam" in the know, have a place to vent my pregnant lady frustrations, and just to share whatever awesomeness the coming months might bring me, I'm starting a new Blog. So please enjoy!
